GRANDMA LETTERS

Will Seymour reads letters he and his grandmother exchanged when he was in high school. He was miserable at the time—his parents had just gotten divorced, and he had no friends—and so was his grandma. So they consoled each other through the mail.

Bill dear, as you will notice, this is just not my day!! I’ve been trying to draw Liza, (the one with a Z, you know) as you asked, but have had little success. At this point would you settle for Donald Duck!!! About the only thing I can draw right now is flies.
